Dental Clinic
The Oasis Dental Clinic is a free dental clinic located at the Jesse Albert Memorial Dental Center in Bath, Maine, providing urgent care to adults who do not have access to dental care. The clinic serves uninsured adults living at or below 150% of the Federal Poverty Level experiencing dental pain or an abscess tooth. Clients must live in the greater Bath-Brunswick area including the towns of Freeport, Durham, Brunswick, Lisbon Falls, Harpswell and the Islands, and all of Sagadahoc County.
The Clinic operates through a partnership with the Merrymeeting Bay Dental Society, the Jessie Albert Memorial Dental Center, (a Catholic Charities of Maine Facility) and the Oasis Health Network, Inc. Funding for the clinic comes from a variety of private companies, grants and individual donations including the Alfred Senter Fund, the Davenport Family Foundation, Northeast Delta Dental, and the Merrymeeting Bay Dental Society.
The Clinic hopes to expand the list of services it offers and operating hours in the future when additional volunteers and funding is found.
